Erin McPartlin, Executive Director, started with Tutoring Chicago in 2001 as the Program Director. She has served as the organization’s Executive Director since 2005. Prior to leading Tutoring Chicago, Ms. McPartlin taught fifth grade for several years, focusing on special education inclusion and improvements to mathematics curriculum. She holds a BA from Marquette University and teaching certificates for grades K-9 in Wisconsin and Illinois.
Jill Heller, Director of Fundraising, has been working with TC since 2002. Ms. Heller holds a BA in education from Indiana University and an MA in special education from National College of Education.
Bradley Troast, Operations Director, manages student and volunteer enrollment and the matching process. Bradley graduated from Northwestern University in 2009 with a BS in Communication. Prior to joining Tutoring Chicago in 2012, he was an Americorps VISTA in Washington, DC, working on a mentoring initiative. Currently Bradley lives in Roscoe Village with his dog and he enjoys watching old movies and trying new restaurants.
Alex Wu, IT Manager, joined Tutoring Chicago in spring 2012. Alex has experience working with kids in Chicago Public Schools. Alex is a graduate of the University of Denver and has experience in teaching students K-12.
Casey Baxley, Community Relations Director, joined Tutoring Chicago in August 2015. Casey received his B.A. in Sociology from Northeastern Illinois University and M.Ed. in Education Policy from University of Illinois-Chicago. His previous career experience includes urban teacher preparation, college access for CPS students, and youth leadership development.
Jennifer Bressler, Director of Programming and Evaluation, held the position of Director of the JUF Right Start Program and Early Childhood Initiatives for the Jewish United Fund/Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago. Jen joins the team with over 14 years of non-profit experience. Prior to her time at the JUF, she held the position of Executive Director at East Village Youth Program (EVYP). She began her career at EVYP as the Director of High School and College Programs in the fall of 2006. Before joining EVYP, Jen spent three years coordinating diversity and anti-bias workshops for the Anti-Defamation League’s A WORLD OF DIFFERENCE Institute. She also taught courses for DePaul University’s Technology & Development Department and was a Chicago Public School Summer Fellow at Prosser Career Academy. Jen holds a bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Simmons College in Boston, MA and a Master’s degree in Education from DePaul University in Chicago.
Cindy Schnoll, Lincoln Park Site Manager, is currently in her second year with Tutoring Chicago. Prior to joining TC, Cindy taught K- 3rd grades in the Chicago Public Schools for 15 years, and has been a private tutor as well. She holds a Bachelors Degree from the University of Michigan and a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership from National Louis University. email@example.com
Kimberly Renton, Near West Side Site Manager, joined Tutoring Chicago as an intern in the fall of 2014. Kimberly received a B.A. in Comparative Religious Studies from the College of Charleston and just completed her M.Ed. in Early Childhood Education at DePaul University. Prior to moving to Chicago, Kimberly served for two years as an AmeriCorps*VISTA with a volunteer tutoring initiative in Columbia, South Carolina. firstname.lastname@example.org
Sarah Cavoto, LIT Program Consultant, joined our staff in summer 2012. Sarah is currently working as a reading specialist in a suburban school. She earned her masters degree in Instructional Leadership with a Reading Specialist Certification in 2013. She holds a BS from University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign. Prior to joining our staff, Sarah volunteered her time as weekly coordinator, assisting tutors and students.
Kelly Olson, LIT Program Manager (Lincoln Park), besides working for Tutoring Chicago, Kelly is an eighth grade writing and social studies teacher at a charter school on the southwest side of Chicago. Kelly enjoys traveling, reading and spending time with Family and friends.
Kayla McCabe, LIT Program Manager (Logan Square), is a new member to our staff this year. Kayla is currently a K-12 reading specialist and multi-tiered support teacher with Chicago Public Schools. Prior to teaching at CPS, she taught social studies at the middle school level in Minnesota, and she has worked with various tutoring programs throughout her teaching career including reading and test prep programs. Kayla holds a B.S. in Teaching from Winona State University, MN, and she holds an M.A. in Literacy in Education from Northeastern Illinois University. email@example.com

Tutoring Associate Board (TAB)
The TAB serves as a junior board comprised of dedicated veteran volunteers, whose intent is to support the mission of Tutoring Chicago. The TAB serves as leaders of each classroom, supporting the volunteer population. They also assist with fundraising, event planning and communication.
