The Greater Chicago Food Depository’s website helps Chicago families easily locate free food resources across the city. Visitors can search for nearby food pantries, soup kitchens, and mobile distribution sites, view hours and eligibility information, and access support programs such as SNAP/Link assistance. The site also offers guidance on benefits enrollment, community programs, and other tools to help ensure families have consistent access to healthy food.

211 Metro Chicago provides Chicago and suburban Cook County residents now have access to a local 2-1-1 service—changing the landscape for how we meet the needs of our neighbors. 2-1-1 is a free, 24/7/365 service that connects families to essential health and social service support and information during times of non-emergency crisis and for everyday needs.
