Summer Sendoff

On May 31st, families attended our annual summer send off. Students and family members participated in fun recreational activities, dined on yummy pizza, and received Tutoring Chicago swag. Thank you to Twinbrook Capital for generously sponsoring and volunteering at the event! Even though this event was completely optional for tutors to attend, we were heartened by the number of tutors who coordinated with families and were able to enjoy the day together. A final thank you to all volunteers who helped – we could not have done it without you!

Tutoring Chicago’s 16th annual Read the Greens golf and pickleball tournament was a hole in one! And one lucky guest won the trip of a lifetime to Pebble Beach after sinking a hole in one at the outing!

It was not only a fantastic day for golf and pickle competition, but more importantly for raising funds and awareness for our free tutoring program for Chicago students facing financial barriers.
